Letting go

Tomorrow is officially my first day back at work. Since it is a Friday, I took the day of, so I can start afresh on Monday. I have been at home with my baby for over five months. I live and breathe him. Yesterday we've visited daycare for a few hours, in order for Flyn to get accustomed to the new surroundings. I got to stay, thank God! Tommorow he's going for his second time, I am supposed to leave. It is sooooo hard to let go of my sweet boy, even for a few hours. My heart bleeds, but I know he'll be okay. I will be too, once it settles.

The Great Outdoors

Summer started in our backyard! Every afternoon I take the cushions for the chairs, make some coffee, put up the parasol and place your campingbed /slash/ playpen underneath it. You love feeling the breeze, watching the branches of the trees move, and looking through the wire mesh, watching me sunbathe and drink coffee. We hear birds sing and bumblebees buzz. Life is good when it's simple: just you and me and a cup of coffee on a sunny afternoon.
